Health & Safety
CIS Standards
CIS 1976 has fully qualified staff that are trained & managed to the highest levels
Working At Height is a serious business and we take the issues of Health & Safety very seriously.
As we also operate our own cherry pickers and therefore working at height is common place so all staff are fully trained for the safe operation of these.
We also complete regular on – going training for all aspects of Softwashing and this is via an in network training academy linked to Softwash Systems UK and ensures all technicians are always receiving on going training.
We also ensure all staff are Asbestos Awareness trained and Water Jetting Association trained for the safe use of pressure washing and steam cleaning equipment.
Below is the list of accredited licenses we have as a company and we expect our staff to work within these standards –
- Working @ Heights
- Mansafe & Harness Operation
- Ladders Safety
- IPAF trained for safe MEWP operations
- Lead Technician SoftWashing training
- WJA – Water Jetting Association for safe pressure washing
- First Aid trained
Risk Assessments and Method Statements
As a company we will provide you with a full set of Risk Assessments and a Method Statement for the work we intend to complete – these assessments are completed by our directors – Tom Alger or Steve Alger who are vastly experienced in this requirement.
Work and scheduling of work would not be commenced until the RAMS are submitted and agreed by both us and the client.
“CIS offers a unique combination of services that has covered our cladding wash down, gutter inspection and window cleaning to ensure the airport remains pristine and professional looking at all times”
