What is SoftWashing ?
SoftWashing is the blending together of water with sodium hypochlorite and specific soaps to create a solution to treat, sanitise and clean any external surface under low pressure.
SoftWashing is as the name suggests a cleaning technique that is the opposite to pressure washing and is delivered under low pressure – similar to the pressure of a garden tap.
When the solution hits the surface it immediately kills all bacteria and organic matter on the surface and also treats non organic matter.
Once the surface has been treated the solution is left to work and sanitize the surface and after a period of approx. 20 minutes the solution is washed away with water.
The process is then repeated until such time that the surface is restored to its original colour and all staining has been removed.
Does SoftWashing protect the surface ?
Yes – once we have completed a clean of your external surface we will then complete a Final Wash – this applies a neutralising agent to the surface to neutralise the solution and add a cheetah wax to the surface.
Once this is complete the wax is activated by a final wash with water and you’ll find the surfaces will stay cleaner for longer with a shine of the wax – in most cases SoftWashing is proved to last up to 6 times longer than standard pressure washing which simply gives the bacteria a hair cut and does not kill it.
Are your staff fully trained to complete SoftWashing safely ?
Yes all CIS staff undertake regular on – going training through the SoftWash Systems UK academy which we all use as an in network approved softwashing company.
